CSR2: Player Update
Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to give feedback and suggestions to help improve CSR2. While we are continuously working to improve the game, we are aware of a few specific requests from our players and we wanted to apologise for any recent confusion or frustration in addressing these.
We have some exciting updates ahead as we work to improve your gameplay experience.
For update 2.2 we have some changes coming your way
- From season 78, starting on date 21.02.19, Jerry’s Daily Bonus will no longer give RP rewards. The RP will be moved to other cups in the crew championship. New rewards will replace them in the Daily Bonus. We’ve received a lot of feedback from players about cheating using this, and we want to prevent this in future.
- Fix to reduce frequency of loading hangs when opening the wildcard menu in the crew hangout.
- Fix for the issue with incorrect RP being displayed on the race result screen. While the correct amount of RP was always being awarded, this will be displayed properly once more.
- Fix to reduce frequency of players seeing the red offline symbol in the garage. We recognise there may be further work to do in this area, and will continue to work on this in future updates.
- We’ve introduced a new system to reduce the size of the CSR app. It is now approx. 600MB smaller than our last update.
- A component exploit has been fixed, and we are giving more component parts away in game events.
Our commitment to improving communication

We really do value your feedback and suggestions. A player communication survey will soon be shared with our players. The results from this survey will be analysed and then used to help shape CSR2 in the future. More to come on this soon.
The Live stream is coming back 🙌
We’ve missed you! The CSR2 live streams will restart in March 2019. The live stream will be used to give our players more information on fixes, new updates and an opportunity for our team to log on and play the game we love! Feel free to give feedback and ask questions along the way.
Improved banning process & communication to our players ✅
We’ve been working on our cheater system to improve how the process works. We have changed our process to ensure that in future the rollout of new cheat detection methods is more gradual with increased player communication. In addition, in coming updates, we are planning to introduce better messaging to explain why players have been banned, and show whether bans are temporary or permanent.
Ongoing Work To Improve Your Experience
As a priority, we are working to further increase the time we spend on improving your in game experience. This is an ongoing process, but you will see improvements in the next few updates.
We are looking at a range of high importance issues including, but not limited to:
- Reducing the number of popups in the game
- Improving game stability & reliability in online mode
- Improving in game communication regarding bans & penalties
- Fixing some of the annoying issues with Daily Goals - such as awarding epic parts for T1 cars which can’t use them
- A fix to solve the high timer value for parts and cars is on it’s way, this will be displayed properly once more

Garage Reordering
Lots of players have commented on social and requested to have the ability to reorder the garage. We hear you and we are working on making this a reality, to make this experience smoother, more efficient and save our players valuable thumb scrolling time!
Speeding up parts and car delivery
You have asked for ways to speed up parts and car delivery. We will be exploring ways to allow players to skip these waits by watching a quick video in upcoming releases. Expect these to roll out gradually as we optimise the feature.
The Dyno
Many players have requested changes to the Dyno feature. We will soon be turning off the Dyno confirmation popup and making the cost of running the Dyno completely FREE.
