Update 1.19 - New Features

Last week we announced the imminent arrival of Update 1.19. Today we’re going to talk a little more about some of the new features you can expect to see.

Back by popular demand, THE TEMPE5T have returned and this time you’ll get to meet Rico Rose; Ruby’s brother. Here’s what you can expect from this instalment:

• Compete once again against Sneak, Summer, Petah, Donna and Harkness and meet Ruby’s brother Rico for the first time
• You’ll be gifted a new car to start you off
• 5 awesome new cars to win: The Ford Focus TrackSTer, Alfa Romeo 4C “Launch Edition”, Label Motorsport Chevrolet Camaro, Ferrari F50 Spider AND Lamborghini Sesto Elemento.
• Compete in Speed Trap and Sprint races (0-60 and 0-100 races)
• The chance to upgrade 5 more cars to Elite, and get 10% increased RP on them!

Augmented Reality on Android

Android users rejoice - CSR2’s renowned Augmented Reality is now arriving on Android.

AR Mode allows you to explore every aspect of your dream car, including opening the doors, hoods and trunks; experimenting with spoiler options; inspecting the engine and even stepping inside for a closer look at the interior. Scale your cars to life-size or model scale, and place them virtually in real world environments, take photos/videos and share your most loved cars with your friends on social media.

Replay Mode

In Update 1.19 we’re pleased to be delivering Replay Mode on iOS. Following any race, use replay mode to quickly and easily edit together a cinematic replay of your race using a selection of camera angles. Once your replay is ready, share it straight to social media for your friends and racing rivals to see! Replay Mode is available only on iOS for now, but we are looking into bringing the feature to Android in one of the upcoming releases.
